Delivery for Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has started and so have the aftermarket accessories for the SUV. People who have bought the Grand Vitara SUV have already started modifying their vehicles and we have featured some of them on our website as well. Grand Vitara is a mid-size SUV that competes with cars like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun in the segment. Here we have a video where the base variant of Maruti Brezza has been neatly modified with aftermarket accessories.

The video has been uploaded by VENOM on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks to a shopkeeper where the SUV is getting modified. The base Sigma variant of the Grand Vitara comes with decent number of features when compared to other Maruti cars. In this video the owner of the SUV opted for LED lights in the headlamps instead of halogen. The dual-function LED DRL is a standard feature. There is a gloss black garnish around the headlamp and a black applique on the skid plate.

Coming to the side profile, the SUV gets the stock steel rims with wheel covers. The car comes with fabric door pads from factory. It was replaced with leather material. The speakers of the front door have been replaced with JBL components and the rear door gets Maruti’s stock units. There is an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system that runs on Android. The steering wheel remains the same and it has been wrapped with a leather cover. The owner also opted for a USB port in the center console and below the rear AC vents. The USB ports are genuine Maruti products. He also installed a light inside the boot which is not available with Sigma variant.

Custom made 7D mats have been installed in the car and a parcel tray has been installed as well. The gear knob on this Sigma variant was upgraded to a higher variant. There are black garnishes on the tail lights as well. The modification done on this SUV looks neat. In the video, seller can be heard saying that a variety of other accessories like illuminated scuff plates, amnient lights, roof rails, window chrome garnishes, rain visors, custom seat covers, calling button for steering wheel, chrome garnishes and so on. The Grand Vitara is available with two engine options. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 103 Ps and 136 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a mild hybrid system and is available with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. The manual version of the SUV also gets the option of AWD.

The next engine option on offer is a 1.5 litre, three cylinder petrol engine that runs on Atkinson cycle. It is paired with a strong hybrid system. The strong hybrid version of Grand Vitara generates 115 Ps and 122 Nm of peak torque. It is available with an e-CVT gearbox only. The mild hybrid version of the Grand Vitara return around 21 kmpl and the strong hybrid version 277.97 kmpl.
